The discussion about the TS made me think about the Church of the Subgenius, who maintain that their Church will be taken over by "normals" who do nothing but recite slogans and that the "real"…Continue

Freud and Jung

It seems like a good topic for discussion. Jung references Blavatsky and Besant a couple of times--mostly for bringing Eastern religious ideas to the West. But his work is teaming with investigations…Continue

William Blake

I just read a bio and now I'm plowing through his collected works. What i was curious about was whether any mention had been made of Blake by any of the early Theosophists? Having been mostly ignored during his lifetime, at about the time Theosophy was taking off, interest was just sparking. Also, what is the origin of his mythos? Did the characters of Los and Urizen arise from his imagination or some ancient British myth?

The Church of the Subgenius

The discussion about the TS made me think about the Church of the Subgenius, who maintain that their Church will be taken over by "normals" who do nothing but recite slogans and that the "real" Church will show up later under a different name, or re-form after the "fad" has worn out. Funny stuff.  See More
