Hi, Katinka, I'll probably comment somewhere down the line on your evaluation of K. For now just have to mention that question 2 in the quiz has Mary Lutyens twice as possible answer, while you probably meant one of them to be Emily Lutyens.

Thanks to Mark Jaqua for posting Mundy's articles in the Theosophical Path, difficult to find otherwise. For some reason the content of my note (1) For a full...was cut. It was a reference to P.B. Ellis' "The Last Adventurer".

Our Forum Objectives

This network, in a very broad sense is theosophical, in interesting and sometimes quirky ways...we believe that wisdom is eternal, but its expression needs to be in step with today's world. The spirit that guides our forum is the that of open inquiry and the objects of the theosophical movement associated with our name. That being said, it is important to understand that we are not affiliated with any theosophical organization. We therefore, are free of any official influence or connections.

1) To form a nucleus of the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, without distinction of race, creed, sex, caste, or color.

2) To encourage the comparative study of religion, philosophy, and science.

3) To investigate unexplained laws of nature and the powers latent in humanity.

When yoga increases stress: about the teacher

Yoga is generally sold online and off as a great stress reliever. I can vouch for that: with the right teacher, yoga can be very healthy emotionally. I’ve often come away from a yoga class with a great big smile on my face that was certainly not there before. However, last week when I was preparing [...]

10 simple mindfulness exercises

I was eating at an Ethiopian restaurant yesterday. For those not familiar with that cuisine, the food is served on thin pancakes and one is supposed to eat one’s dinner with the right hand. For me it was a painful exercise in overcoming my conditionings. The table went quiet: a measure of the concentration we [...]
