The book - Lives of Alcyone by CWL and AB is fascinating to read even if you consider it all fiction. It was not republished by TPH since 1924. The original publication used very poor quality paper which later became brittle and most threw them away. Courtesy of Internet and digital scanning, it is now available for download at scribed.com. It appears that the reprinting was not done at the specific request of Jiddu Krishnamurti. I recall seeing it mentioned somewhere.

Need it be said I was being sarcastic, as MKR no doubt is also. It might do some good in revealing the type that Leadbeater was, to those with a little discrimination, as well as a historical document for criticism. Even Adyar was too embarassed to reprint it. Right on the comic.

Several of the lives can be made into interesting movies and it would bring theosophy into world attention.
