Beginning with the earthquake in New Zealand, followed by the earthquake and tsunami in in Japan, to several earthquakes and hurricanes around the globe, it is about to end with a  disaster in Philippines. Heavy rainfall brought about by typhoon Washi resulted in flash floods and mudslides killing 650, at the last count and over…

Evolution Of Technology

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 4:33am 3 Comments

The origin of this post is in a question that I posed to our brilliant host of the World Wide Wisdom Radio talkshow - Peter O'Lalor. In the context of apprehensions about the emerging technologies, Nano and Bio, my question was "Can Humans Control the Evolution of Technology?"

Let us look at the four discoveries in the Human history that had the greatest of impacts. Someone, without planning perhaps discovered Fire. Surely the elders and the wise of the society of that time,…

Humanity Vs. Divinity - WWW Radio

Posted on May 23, 2011 at 6:58pm 1 Comment

Listening to WWW Radio is an amazing experience. Peter, in his affable voice explaining the Ancient Wisdom is not only mesmerizig but also addictive as in the end it leaves one desiring for more. Heidi is a perfectly neutral host allowing everyone to put their views across and never imposes her own thoughts. It is this background, which encourages people like me to ask questions.

In the show last week, Peter explained that Spirituality is a study related to Divinity. Post…

Anand,

What is knowledge? One can say knowledge is curiosity. We seem to be born with it. We are explorers when we are babies and stay explorers for the rest of our life. We search for truth as we define it. When we are children we are taken care of by our parents grandparents or whomever and believe everything they say...until we decide we need to judge for our selves what truth really is.

Then we are individuals which we created out of curiosity. There is truth truths and a variation of truths which in the end always lead to the truth that explains all truths. Like the words apples and oranges which explain two kind of fruit and the word fruit which one word explains both. Is the word truth relevant to it's definitions yes. Yet the word truth is ambiguous to those who for whatever reason will not accept the word as having one meaning.

The word karma has two meanings plus cause and effect and other ambiguous meanings to the person who see's it differently than most. Take the word philosophy, it to has more than one word or paraphrase too others as does all the disciplines. The words perfect and absolute has different meanings to different people.

Does the word spiritual/esoteric have one meaning or ambiguous meanings? It would seem as I found out spiritual understand has many meanings to many people especially when experienced by one person. It's like "what is truth"? The sentence in itself is paraphrased for a single answer but read and interpreted to mean different meanings to different people.

I see the material world with another paraphrased understanding called reality. I deduct from that as well I see the true nature of the world as spiritual. Paul
