I have read the Saman Suttam and it seems Jain Dharma metaphysics is somewhere between some commonly accepted ideas of Buddha Dharma and Sanatana Dharma, but Jain Dharma may have the strictest ahimsa ethics.  Its idea that there is a spiritual self seems one that Theosophy should have considered rather than just giving an idea about esoteric Buddhism that conflicts with the commonly held idea of many Buddhists about anatman.  I suppose Jain Dharma was too strict for Madame Blavatsky, but that does not mean it should not be of more relevance to modern-day Theosophists.  What do you think?
