When posting in the forum I see no way to edit the post, only delete?
Also the button choices lack a "quote" button. This Technical forum has far more button choices. Does the number and selection of the buttons vary from forum to forum?
One can edit here, as I now see. So another question - that tiny box one writes in, when posting, is too tiny. Any way to make it larger?

Permalink Reply by Joe Fulton on December 9, 2010 at 8:16pm The new text editor launched today. It will work in any format (blogs, forums, messages, etc.). The box size is now variable for easier editing. You can access it by looking for the three-lined triangle just above the "Cancel" button.
Please let me know if there is anything with the feature that doesn't look or work right.

The quote function seems odd - my reply is italicized & indented along with your quote - cannot get out of either.

Permalink Reply by Joe Fulton on December 9, 2010 at 10:04pm When you do a quotation, type the remark that you want to quote first, highlight the text, then select the quotation marks. To undo, highlight the remark and re-select the quotation marks. That will undo the quotation mark attributes.
I tested to verify functionality.
What browser are you using?

OK, this is following your directions. Now I will block this line with quote and see what happens. Dynomite - it worked & took me out of quote-ital-indent. The only other thing, is I am asked if this place can access my clipboard each time I cut & paste the quote - guess I will have to live with that. IE 7 is what I have.

Permalink Reply by Joe Fulton on December 9, 2010 at 11:18pm what if you highlight and do a ctrl-c? That's something with Windows trying to make sure it's 'safe'.
What version of MS Windows are you running?

Ctrl-C is how I always cut anyway. Actually it is IE 8 & XP Home that I have.
Looks like the other buttons work fine - this is a big improvement.
