  Chapter 5: Miscellaneous out-of-body dynamics:

 

 How to Achieve Astral-Projection; the Author’s own methodology: There are many, many out-of-body techniques available through which to conduct your personal experimentations; hence, research as many different points of view on this subject as you possibly can! I have naturally experienced off and on phases of out-of-body phenomena since before I vaguely understood what the crown chakra was, and, albeit, since long before I ever experimented with mind altering plants of any kind. It was much later during my life that I sought-out further understanding as to what was metaphysically occurring in correlation to the crown chakra during inductions of out-of-body awareness. Frankly, I never took the chakra force-centers very seriously until my recent years, so I would concur that, based upon the darkest years of my personal astral projection experiences, wielding an advanced understanding of the chakra-system is certainly not necessary in order to achieve astral projection; though having such an esoteric knowledge would definitely benefit the student.

 

 Stage 1: Firstly, force yourself to awaken during the cusp of early twilight, during the wee hours;

OR from between 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., as the Hindu Brahmans suggest. It is good to feel rather sleepy upon awakening, for it is imperative that you must feel tired enough that you can easily fall back asleep again; yet the trick is to not lose consciousness when returning to sleep.

Comfortably lie on your back with your arms at your sides and relax. Try to catch yourself at the verge of losing consciousness, for therein exists a powerful gateway. Focus upon your mid-brain as you concentrate upon a deep breathing exercise of your choice. You may by-locate your concentration from betwixt your frontal lobe and your midbrain. Eventually, you should begin feeling a sense of light headedness; once felt, pay very close attention to this sensation. Specifically concentrate upon wherever you feel the sensations of light-headedness originating from. The stronger the light-headed feelings the better; this phenomenon will occur in mild waves at first but will exceedingly increase with concentration.

 

 Gradually, you should detect feelings of electromagnetic or static-like vibrations coursing through the mid and upper brain, much like peculiar head rushes. If your concentration falters, the intensity of these light-headed electromagnetic sensations will decrease to the degree of ceasing entirely, and you will then be forced to recommence the exercise from the beginning. These sensations will intensify with perpetuated focus; willingly embrace these awesome feelings with all of your vitality and fear not. You should soon begin to feel tingly, static-like vibrations elevate above the mid-brain, within the uppermost region of your brain: Shift your focus to this area. As these awesome sensations persist and intensify, you might begin to fear that there might be something badly wrong or perhaps that you could be experiencing the initial symptoms of a seizure; for this phenomenon can be exceptionally frightening to the unprepared mind. Do not surrender to fear lest you lose the immediate focus upon your goal. Despite your fear, continue to intently concentrate upon these acute sensitivities and graduate your attention to the region of your aura that is about an inch ABOVE the top of your head. Visualization will greatly assist in this process. Yes, you will soon begin to notice a similar tingling of electro-static-like vibrations just above the top of your head. At this current stage, you may even feel an electromagnetic pull or rising, upward moving feelings:

Herein is the gateway of exit through which the prana abridged electricity bond that intercedes between your astral crown chakra and the brain force-centers can be broken with determination.

Thusly, thrust your mind-spirit into and through the rising sensations which stir within your spiritual aura that is just above the head of your physical-vehicle, and your astral crown will dislodge from the brain force-center receptors which interface your consciousness through the physical brain. The dislocation of the astral crown chakra is sometimes associated with a snapping of popping sound, but this is not a physically audible sound. I’ve described a further explanation for the dislocation of the astral crown chakra in my “bunk head-thread theory” subsection of this chapter.

 

 Stage 2: Your higher Sahasrara crown and spiritual-consciousness-thread have now separated from the EM-field of the brain and its inner-ethereal third-eye shield. There is yet one final phase to fully achieving freedom from your physical-body: At this stage, where I begin to feel a strong polarity of magnetic resistance within the naval region of my physical-vessel, and or within the center of my astral body. Some people feel this phenomenon manifesting from the heart chakra region of their physical body. In the past I have felt only minor phenomena associated with the heart force center but very rarely upon astral projecting.

 

 Now, shift your focus to the auric area that is between your physical and astral centers. You might notice a feeling of magnetic tension, pulling or the stretching forth of energy between your astral body and the inner-ethereal EM-field of your physical body, thus as your spirit separates: This phenomenon manifests what I refer to as the astral-umbilical-cord. Vibrations will rush through this supernatural cord between your physical nervous system and your astral center.

Like a tractor beam, the nervous-system aspect of the inner-ethereal aura will resist against the outward departure of your astral body if you allow it to. You should notice both protracting and retracting sensations of polarity within your astral tether. Concentrate upon the protracting vibrations in order to propel your astral body away from the ethereal tractor-beam of your physical body’s nervous-system EM-field.

 

 To move your astral-vehicle: Intently focus upon the center and of your astral-vehicle and “will” your spiritual-self forwards in order to travel.

 

 To return to your physical-vehicle: One technique is to intently focus upon the retracting sensations within the astral-umbilical-cord; doing so can resultantly pull your spiritual being back into a state of embodied cohesion with your physical-vehicle.

 

 The art of tripping the astral umbilical cord: This may be easily accomplished if another person disturbs the comatose physical body of an astral projected person, thereby triggering a surge of electromagnetic polarity through the astral cord in which extracts the dislocated astral vehicle back into a state of embodied cohesion with the physical-vehicle. Another means for triggering an astral cord extraction is by intently or forcibly tugging against or otherwise by tampering with the astral-cord prana current. Toying with a dislocated ethereal double is yet another means for triggering an ethereal security system reaction that surges through the astral-cord to the astral-body.

 

 The astral hands: Both Robert Bruce and Carlos Castaneda had emphasized upon similar astral oriented methodologies for utilizing one’s “astral-hands” in regard to achieving dreaming lucidity, and thus a conscious state of astral-projection. Simply gaze at your astral hands in order to invoke a sense of conscious lucidity or when you feel as if you are losing consciousness. One can where a “dreaming ring” in order to entrain their mind to get into the habit of looking at one’s hands during waking consciousness. During your daily routines, casually glance at your ring and ask yourself, “am I dreaming?” One day you will find yourself in an ordinary dream as you happen to gaze down at your hands, thus asking yourself, “Am I dreaming?” And this little rite just might trick your mind into becoming conscious midst a lucid dream or an out-of-body  experience!

 

 Etheric-projection and being stuck half in and half out-of-body: This can occur if the ethereal security system is inadequately stalled when extracting the astral spirit-body from an out of body or state or if an entity is attempting to possess your physical-vessel; OR if the practitioner fails to break free of the ethereal veil during the initial phase of astral projection.

 

 Feeling & seeing the astral-cord: As for many out-of-body experience practitioners, perceiving the astral-cord is rather an obscure phenomenon. Depending upon one’s conscious degree of sensitivity to astral vibrations, the cord phenomenon can be either seen or felt. Fascinatingly, there are people who firmly ascertain that an astral cord lifeline manifests from the heart chakra region of their physical body when they astral project, however, there are yet many others who strongly affirm that an astral-cord manifests from the navel or solar-plexus area of their physical-vessel when they go out-of-body. What if both sides to this debate are correct? There might be pertinent metaphysical explanations as to why the astral-cord is either felt or seen as emitting from different locations of one’s physical-vehicle during out-of-body phenomena.

 

 Out-of-body flight and astral cord phenomena: Whilst flying amidst an out-of-body state have you ever felt buoyant, protracting, retracting, springy, or tension-like sensations in which rush up and down your lifeline, especially as you “will” your astral mind-spirit body forward? And have you ever noticed any slight to severe nervous-system convulsions or tremors from within the midsection region of your physical-vehicle upon being jolted back to embodied cohesion from an out-of-body state? Further, have you ever experienced any feelings of energetic resistance within the naval region of your physical body upon going out-of-body during the initial phase of astral projection? Clearly, the astral lifeline is a critical element of the ethereal security-system of the physical nervous-system. Once the ethereal/ physical security-system defenses have been activated the “umbilical life-line” then triggers an over-powering current of electromagnetic polarity through which it promptly extracts one’s dislocated astral spirit-vehicle. One’s astral-body chakras tend to slightly shift from their stationary points, which could also attribute to the buoyant sensations which are felt during astral flight.

 

 Telepathic communion via O.O.B. states: Telepathy is a mode of spiritual communion that occurs through thought-frequency receptions and transmissions between two or more spirit-entities, thus circumventing all communal language barriers. All thought energy is derived from the mind-spirit vibration of the Devachan planes. In essence, “spirits” communicate by means of telepathic conversation, for disembodied ghosts and other astral plane spirits, also including astral-projected human spirits, have no physical mouths through which to convey their thoughts; so it is thus by means of telepathic communion through which all astral spirits converse. What makes you any different than a ghost? – Other than the fact that you are a physically embodied spirit whereas they are not? Achieving a simultaneous, co-interactive state of astral projection with another person tends to naturally manifest an open channel of telepathic communion between both spirits; also, merging astral-vehicles and Sutratma-threads is an exceptionally effective means for manifesting a resonant mind-meld bridge between the spiritual-consciousness-frequencies of two astral projected spirits. Thought is simply a frequency of energy, of which every individual mind-spirit resonates with its own unique channel or frequency of thought. One’s mind-spirit will naturally hone into another out-of-body spirit’s specific channel of thought-frequency in a relatively comparable fashion as to how a broadcasted radio-frequency bandwidth can be tuned in over a radio signal receiver. The most profound telepathic experiences generally occur during out-of-body states. An intensive astral projection experience with another out-of-body traveler will tend break down one’s third-eye barriers. Some degree of telepathic phenomena might ensue for a limited duration of time after two correspondent astral travelers have returned to their physical-vehicles. When a state of telepathic communion occurs between you and your partner’s out-of-body mind-spirits, you may spontaneously alternate between disembodied and embodied states of consciousness together without immediately diminishing of your telepathic link. Followed by returning from your co-interactive out-of-body state, your telepathic connection will grow weaker until it eventually ceases due to the natural sealing of your inner-ethereal third-eye shield.

Depending upon how tightly your third-eye seals closed, a very limited degree of conscious thought to thought transference might actually endure between you, but at random; especially if you have past life or over-soul-group affinity with that person.

 

 Telepathy versus empathy: These are two entirely different phenomena, though synonymous to a limited degree. Empathy is merely the innate capacity to empathize, feel, perceive, understand or sympathize with another’s specific emotional, mental or physical conditions. Telepathy is a purely spiritual phenomenon through which two or more spirits may express unobstructed conveyances of intent betwixt themselves; strictly defining thought to thought receptions and transmissions between two mind-spirits. True telepathy more commonly occurs during out of body states than midst physically embodied states, due to the ethereal third-eye seal. Lesser telepathic states have been known to seldom occur at randomly during ordinary wakeful states of human consciousness, but often to a very limited degree. For instance, think of past scenarios where you were thinking of a word or an expression, and maybe you were even about to speak it, but the person who you were talking to conveyed it before you did: Insinuating, “Hey! – I was just thinking that before you said it!” Telepathic phenomena can occur on either sub-conscious or conscious levels.

 

 Several examples of various reports concerning astral-cord phenomena:

 

1. According to many out-of-body practitioners, an astral-cord can be either felt or seen as exuding forth from between the solar plexus force-center of the physical body and its correspondent astral body force-center. This cord phenomenon might be attributed to the fifth ray of consciousness in some out-of-body parishioners. However, not all astral practitioners report feeling or seeing this variant of astral cord.

 

2. Numerous other astral projection adepts report that an astral cord phenomenon can be either felt or seen as protruding forth from between the heart force-center of the physical body and its correspondent astral body force-center. This cord phenomenon might be attributed to the fourth ray of vibration in some O.O.B.E. practitioners. Of course, not every astral practitioner attests to feeling or seeing this particular astral cord variant.

 

3. Some insist that they neither see nor feel any astral-cord phenomena when they astral project and are uncertain as to whether or not it exists, and others surmise that the astral cord does not exist.

 

4. Yet others believe that an astral-cord manifests from wherever one believes, thinks or wills or that it will manifest from.

 

5. Certain practitioners have spoken of a mysterious throat chakra cord.

 

6. And there are some who believe that the astral-cord manifests in correlation to interplay between two or more chakra force-centers.

 

7. A few yet proclaim that an astral-cord can manifest from through the back of the head, but rumor has it that only an enlightened master can astral project without breaking the resonant bond of fohat mingled prana between the brain of their physical-vehicle and their golden Sutratma-thread. This “head-thread” phenomenon might be achievable by some individuals, but such is likely to be exceedingly rare in the Author’s fervent opinion.

 

 The silver-cord vs. the golden-Sutratma or spiritual-consciousness-thread: The spiritual-consciousness-thread, or technically referred to as the golden Sutratma-thread, should not be confused with the astral-umbilical-cord, as these are different cord phenomena. In the Author’s perception, certain Theosophists have attempted to discredit the silver-cord by asserting that it was confused with the golden Sutratma-thread. This is not a plausible speculation for anyone who has experienced the naval cord for themselves.

 

 The bunk head-thread: This cord concisely manifests as a direct result of a division between the one’s astral, ethereal, and physical spirit-bodies during the initial phase of astral projection.

 

 For those readers who profess to regularly experience this head-thread phenomenon, here is the Author’s “bunk-head-thread theory”, thus based upon his own out-of-body experiences:

 

1. When an astral projection phenomenon occurs, the crown force-center of one’s astral body will begin to elevate with will, thereby dislodging from its cohesive bond of magnetism with the ethereal-crown-chakra-inlet.

 

2. The resistant bond between the astral crown force-center and the crown-force-center-inlet of the ethereal double, which interfaces a Sahasrara link to the brain of the physical body, is so great that it is difficult to break its resonant crown bond. During the initial phase of going out of body, the astral crown force-center partially dislocates the ethereal crown force-center inlet, pulling away from the brain interface and from the top of the head of the physical-vessel.

 

3. A weak cord of (fohat & prana mingled ethereal-matter) then stretches forth between the Sahasrar crown force-center and the crown chakra inlet at the top of the head of the physical body. At this stage the astral Sahasrar force-center has not yet dislocated from the crown force-center-inlet of the ethereal-double; with intent, the Sahasrar continues to separate from its energetic bond with the head of the ethereal body.

 

4. The astral crown begins to break its bond with the ethereal crown inlet, and an energetic cord like phenomenon then stretches forth between the dislocated astral crown force-center and the ethereal-crown force-center inlet, but temporarily. This bunk thread may weakly extend to the head of the physical body for a limited duration.

 

5. The fohat-ground link to bunk head-thread cord of prana quickly begins to diminish in its strength as the astral crown chakra continues to separate from the ethereal-crown force-center-inlet.

 

6. Soon thereafter, the magnetism of this bunk head-thread cord suddenly snaps and then completely dissipates. Hence, the astral crown force-center, intact together with the spiritual-consciousness-thread, has now broken free from the circuit of resonant magnetism in which had bonded it to the spiritual-consciousness-thread-ground or brain of the physical body. In other words, the astral crown force-center is thereby freed once it breaks its state of electromagnetic cohesion with the brain of the ethereal-double of the physical body.

 

7. At this instance, total astral projection has not yet occurred, for the astral body has not yet become totally freed from the grounding magnetism of the ethereal nervous-system chakras!

Remember that the head-thread is merely a bunk, short lasting cord phenomenon for most astral travelers, as it will quickly begin to weaken and then snap the further ones ventures away from one’s physical-vehicle; but the golden Sutratma-thread temporarily breaks its connection to the brain and remains as one with the out of body mind-spirit! Thusly, the spiritual-consciousness-thread will break its bondage of the consciousness-thread-ground force-centers of the brain of the physical body. As the bunk thread link snaps the “silver-cord” begins to manifest from the solar plexus region of the physical-vessel in many out-of-body practitioners. Suddenly, it will dawn within the attention of one’s spiritual-mind that one is indeed experiencing a genuine out of body experience. The dislodging of one’s astral-crown chakra is sometimes accompanied by a popping or snapping sound; one may or may not notice this sound. At once, one will be immersed within a vast sea of endless astral vibrations.

 

 The supernatural substance of the astral-cord: Subtle fohat-electricity mingled prana channels through the astral-cord circuit that manifests between one’s separating spirit-bodies during out-of-body states; fohat-electricity charged ethereal sub-matter and prana form the base of the astral-cord, of which tapers off into a thin cord of prana and electricity. Subtle vibrations reverberate between dislocated spirit-embodiments through the cord of astral-prana, between corresponding astral to ethereal force-centers. It is thus by virtue of prana transference that the astral body subconsciously receives and feels all physical sensations before the autonomic nervous system of the physical body can translate physical impressions as conscious feelings. The astral-umbilical-cord is a silvery grey color at its lower base due to its astral to ethereal prana correspondences, for the ethereal double is also a silvery grey in color; whereas, the golden Sutratma-thread, or spiritual-consciousness-thread, is shimmering golden in color due to its direct correspondence with “Boddhi-Atma prana.”

 

 In Sanskrit and Theosophical teachings, a centralized current of inward flowing prana enters each of the seven primary force-center vortexes and a series of evenly spaced prana rays emit from within the force-center vortex, thus circumferencing around the central stream of prana, like the spokes of a wheel. So, regarding the solar plexus force-center, ten outwardly flowing “rays” or spokes of prana emit forth from around a central current of inwardly streaming prana. Strictly during out-of-body experiences, do the ten outward flowing prana rays wrap around the inward stream of primary prana flow to thus manifest the astral-umbilical-cord? Is this concept not dissimilar to the principle basis as to how an extension-cord conduits electricity, but concerning astral prana as its medium? The Author hasn’t yet observed this theory in other Author’s out-of-body literature.

 

 A possible an example of an astral-cord portrayal in Hindu spirituality: Brahma is perhaps depicted as being spiritually disconnected from his body, thus residing within a lotus flower that is connected by a cord or a thread that recedes to the Manipuraka force-center of his body; perhaps this symbolizes a disembodied state in which displays an astral-umbilical-cord?

 

 Neither Annie Besant nor Madam Helena Blavatsky mentioned the silver-cord to any in-depth, and nor did Charles Leadbeater or the other Classical Theosophists; yet great emphasis has been placed upon different astral-cord phenomena in other metaphysical literature sources.

 

 The holy Torah and the Biblical Old Testament in regard to the silver-cord: “When the silver cord be loosed then shall the dust return to the earth as it was and the spirit shall return to God who gave it”.

 

 Helena P. Blavatsky and the silver-cord: “The astral body is connected to the physical body by a “silver cord”, an extended umbilical cord”.

 

 G.R.S. Mead: The Doctrine of the Subtle Body in Western Tradition: An outline of what philosophers thought and Christians taught on the subject: “Perhaps it is then hardly worth while in this connection to remind ourselves of a certain mystic silver cord, or psychical attachment, which is variously* seen and spoken of. This is supposed by a few figuratively to start from between the shoulder-blades; it is also imagined to unroll itself as it were from a point or centre, and contract itself again into a point”. -- The subtle vehicle (Lepton Ocliema) of the soul, & quot; quoted by ‘Hierocles in his commentary on The Golden Vertes of Pythagoras, xxvi. 67-69. The reference to a silver cord will indubitably remind the reader of the phrase in the magnificent, but exceedingly puzzling, concluding outburst of Koheleth (Eccl. xii. 6). But the treatment of the whole passage. XII. 1-8, \would be too long a story for this occasion. -- “When the subtle vehicle leaves and returns to the body in certain mystic experiences. The phenomenon is very variously described, and the cord has numerous points of attachment according to others”.

 

 Edgar Van Oostrum; Astral Projection 101: “Pick a point on your body. Any point will do, but I have found that the point that works best, is your solar plexus, because it’s right where your astral vehicle is attached to your body”.

 

 Dr. Douglas M. Baker; Techniques of astral projection: “It is said that the cord is made of a silver like material and so long as it is patent, the astral body will always return to its physical counterpart when we awake or return to our physical habitat. There is also the suggestion that if the cord were to snap, return would not be possible. This becomes a real fear to many. In my own instance, many years back, I used to lock my bedroom door before any sort of esoteric endeavour like meditation or astral projection because of this fear. It was widely believed that any sort of interruption whilst out of the body could bring about rupture of the silver cord. Does it exist? Is there any danger linked to its breakage? I can only speak from experience. In all my many projections, I have never seen a cord, either linked to me or to another person. This does not mean that the cord does not exist. It may be that with my nasty scientific mind, I don't or won't accept that a piece of material like the so-called astral cord can be extended indefinitely, perhaps as much as two hundred thousand miles, say, to the Moon. That there is a tug back towards the physical body, I admit. That there is a feeling of linkage near the umbilicus or, in women, as Eileen Garrett describes it, just above the breasts, I will also admit but that it is a cord, that I will not accept. I always say: “If you see a cord, take a pair of scissors and cut it!”

 

 J.D.S.;the Chakra of Exit and the silver-cord: “This last occurrence is absolutely fascinating in that the soul extension and Kundalini exist from the chakra that the person focused on the most in that lifetime. The ideal would be to leave out of the crown chakra or at minimum, the third eye. However, the soul extensions, or personalities, that were very astrally focused in that lifetime will leave out of the soul plexus chakra. If they were love-focused they will leave out of the heart chakra. If they were will- and communication- focused in that lifetime they will leave out of the throat chakra. If they were focused on spiritual sight as their main interest they will leave out of the third eye. If they were God-focused they will leave out of crown. Which chakra the personality leaves out of will also affect the Bardo experience and possibly which plane it will magnetize toward after the Bardo. It is usually the astral seed atom that leaves first, then the mental seed atom, and lastly the head seed atom. When the emotional and mental seed atoms leave, one is no longer conscious of the Earth plane. When the head seed atom leaves, the silver cord then breaks, releasing the soul extension completely. The hear seed atom will leave rather quickly in an initiate, but may remain in the physical body for three days in the case of a less evolved soul extension”.

 

 Robert Bruce; Treatise on Astral Projection Vol. II; Energy Flow: “The famed “Silver Cord” does more than just tie the two bodies together. It is a true umbilical cord, transmitting information and energy between the physical and subtle bodies. It is seen by some projectors and not seen by others. Sometimes it is seen emanating from the navel, sometimes from the forehead. The area the cord is seen emanating from may depend on chakra activity. Whichever chakra is the strongest, most active, could have control of energy flow to the subtle bodies. There is also the belief system of the projector to consider and the creative power of the subconscious mind. The cord will usually appear to be wherever you believe it will be, courtesy of the subconscious”. Robert Bruce; Treatise on astral projection Vol. 1: “While you are climbing the ribbon imagine you are coming loose from the physical body. Imagine you can feel yourself rising a little with each new hand hold. Feel yourself floating free. You will feel a slight giddy feeling in the pit of your stomach, or solar plexus, as pressure is put on the astral body”.

 

 Bod Peterson; Out of Body Experiences versus Lucid-Dreams:“After all, not every OBEer’ perceives the legendary silver cord, and of those that do some report it as emerging from different points on the body to the solar plexus, such as the small of the back, the neck or the top of the head to name a few. It seems to depend on where you expect to see it. So, whether a physical body is percieved or not depends on whether you expect to see a body or not, in my opinion”

 

 Matrica; Astral Travel, simplicity itself: “Work on projecting a cloud of your energy out through your solar plexus (some people work better projecting from the 3d eye, I personally project the body through the solar plexus and when I project the consciousness into it, I do it via the 3d eye”.

 

 Lee Bladon; Esoteric Knowledge: “When we fall asleep the monad (in the triad) detaches the consciousness thread from the physical-etheric brain and leaves the physical-etheric body, usually via the navel or heart chakra, causing the physical body to become unconscious”. – “The monad can leave the physical-etheric body by one of three exits: the navel chakra, the heart chakra or the crown chakra. Primitive and civilised people use the navel chakra, developed and humanistic people use the heart chakra, and enlightened people use the crown chakra. The navel and heart chakras correspond to the lower (2:1–2:3) and upper (2:4–2:6) emotional plane so are obvious points of exit to the emotional world. Exiting through the crown chakra ensures that the consciousness thread is not detached, which not only allows the waking consciousness to remember the monad’s out-of-body activities but to actually experience the events as they occur. This is an ability that naturally develops at (or just prior) to enlightenment, but it is possible for fairly well developed individuals to acquire the ability early through the use of specific yogic and meditative disciplines”.

 

 Max Heindel; the Rosicrucian Mysteries: “No matter how long we may keep the Spirit from passing out, however, at last there will come a time when no stimulant can hold it and the last breath is drawn. Then the silver cord of which the Bible speaks, and which holds the higher and the lower vehicles together, snaps in the heart and causes that organ to stop. That rupture releases the vital body, and it, with the desire body and mind, floats above the visible body for from one to three and one-half days, while the Spirit is engaged in reviewing the past life, an exceedingly important part of its post-mortem experience. Upon that review depends its whole existence from death to a new birth”.

 Edgar Cayce and the silver cord: Known as one of the greatest prophets of the 20^th Century; Edgar had the reputation of being able to disconnect from his physical-vehicle to thus channel or to clairvoyantly acquire information for another. Intriguingly, he was even said to be capable of speaking through his physical-vehicle as he was astral-projected; a phenomenon in which few have ever reported. Edgar was once interrupted during one of his clairvoyant out-of-body sessions, and a certain friend of his claimed to have witnessed what he called “Edgar’s astral-body” amidst a materialized state, thus connected by a “silver-cord” in which extended from the midsection of his disembodied ghost to the “solar-plexus” region of his physical-body. When this instance had occurred Edgar’s dislocated astral-form suddenly turned his head to observe the man who had interrupted the session. Edgar’s physical-vehicle then immediately ceased speaking.

 

 The Author of 777 VTS insists that the silver-cord and the golden Sutratma-thread are two equally real but entirely different astral cord phenomena!

 The words of the 777-V.T.S. Author in counter-debate: Pointedly, I feel rather perturbed about disputing the beliefs a renowned twentieth century Author of Theosophy, and by no means do

I wish to condescend, demean or patronize her; but based upon my own experiences concerning astral-cord phenomena, I feel innately impelled to interject that, for most practitioners of astral projection, the golden Sutratma-thread breaks its electromagnetic bond of cohesion with the brain of the physical body when the astral crown breaks away from the top of the head. Followed by that, an astral-cord immediately manifests from the solar plexus region of the physical-vessel, thus according to my personal out-of-body experiences. I believe that the silver cord can also manifest from other force-center vortexes in some astral practitioners; and there could be pertinent metaphysical explanations as to why. Some say that the head-thread can only be maintained by an OBE master.

 The mind-spirit-thread ground, the spiritual-consciousness-thread filter; or the brain: Practically everything that Western science has taught us about the brain, especially in relation to the true consciousness principle and mind, is false! One’s spiritual mind is electromagnetically abridged into energetic cohesion with the brain of the physical-vessel, from outside of the body, though the outer aura. Within is without and without is within. The true mind is not a product of the brain, and nor is it dependent upon the brain for its existence. The consciousness-thread-ground is merely a biological, electromagnetically charged database that inventories residual imprints of the conscious sensory perceptions and thoughts of the incarnate spirit-entity. One’s so called perception of ordinary reality is only a censored product of limited consciousness in which the brain force-centers moderate.

 

 The consciousness-thread-filter entrances, hypnotizes and programs the embodied mind of the incarnate spirit, thus hijacking that entity’s true sense of conscious identity. The brain and nervous system are really is more so in possession of the embodied spirit than that being is in possession of the body. Mental vibrations from one’s casual mind-spirit are interrupted by the higher frequency EM shield of the ethereal force-centers. The mind is filtered and subjected to counterfeit programs which entrain a false sense of self-effigy, limiting one’s consciousness to the confines of the brain’s biologically inventoried database, which over-rides the embodied spirit’s extra-sensory perceptions of higher awareness. The brain converts psychic frequencies from one’s spiritual mind into sub-conscious transmissions. Sub-consciousness is really consciousness.

 

 Perceiving from through the darkened shades of the brain and its third-eye shield is an altered state of consciousness in itself. The brain solidifies the illusory division between the five senses. The spirit-entity eternally pre-exists the conceptual creation of, as well as pro-exists the death of, its incarnate physical-body. As with all other variations of energy, one’s spiritual energy is an inexhaustible power that never dies. Energy can only be channeled, harnessed and recycled. Though all are eternally connected with the eternal source, every spiritual-being is individually possessing of a solely unique frequency of mind that transcends all forms, space and time. In essence, the spiritual-entity has no gender or form; and all forms, space and time are illusory.

- The Indu force-center: Situated within the inner-most, back point of the frontal lobe.

 

- The Manas force-center: Located between where the frontal portion of the Thalamus and the third ventricle intersect, at the center of the brain.

 The auric Brahmarandhra force-center: This spiritual force-center is frequently depicted as hovering above the head of one’s physical-vessel. It is directly correspondent with the golden Sutratma thread of one’s causal or higher spirit-self. There are different interpretations of the Brahmarandhra chakra’s station; one is that it inter-dimensionally ties into a series of mind-spirit crowns within the higher auric bands. It channels and embodies the incarnate spirit’s true mind or causal-ego, of which supernaturally archives permanent imprints of one’s past and present incarnation astral, mental & physical memories. The Brahmarandhra is the higher-Sahasrara mind-spirit center according to some teachings, yet others might profess that it extra-dimensionally embodies the higher-Sahasrara center.

 

 The higher-Sahasrara is the true crown-chakra of the astral-body, of which, though it is spiritually located outside of the brain, within the spiritual aura above the head, it inter-dimensionally grounds to the frontal lobe force-center, (temple or Shatram) beneath it, – to the lower Sahasrara; thusly, by virtue of the golden Sutratma-thread of Atmic prana; electromagnetically abridging to the Sahasrara-Shetram, or the consciousness-ground within the frontal lobe of the brain. This energy bridge is fortified by yet other brain force-centers. The third-eye seal tempers the Sahasrara Shetram; it is from whence that the illusory duality which divides one’s conscious and sub-conscious minds is perpetuated by the brain. A combination of the bio-electricity that circuits through the brain force-centers and the EM charged ethereal aura – is what binds of the Sutratma cord of Atmic prana to the brain interface, thereby grounding the higher Sahasrara to its Shetram filter.

 

 The spiritual-consciousness-thread; or the golden Sutratma thread: This golden prana-circuit extra-dimensionally threads the Atmic-mind consciousness-principle of the spirit-Monad through the mental, astral and physical planes of the lower Manas. It interpenetrates through both the outer and inner auric-bands of the embodied human spirit, thusly; it threads the spiritual Brahmarandhra mind-center, which subconsciously stores one’s causal past life memory, – to a state of resonant cohesion with the mind-spirit grounding force-centers of the brain. Altering, interfering with, slightly inhibiting or otherwise pacifying the brain force-centers which moderate the natural bio-electro-cohesive bridge of energy that binds one’s mind-spirit to the brain of the physical body – can result in un-grounding one’s higher Sahasrara-crown & spiritual-consciousness-thread from its EM bond with the Sahasrara-Shetram. It is the Author’s perception that, for most out-of-body practitioners in general, when a astral projection occurs the higher Sahasrara and consciousness-thread, together, will temporarily break away from the brain and the ethereal EM-field; and yet a different cord phenomenon then manifests from either the naval or heart regions of the body.

 

 The Author’s arguments in defense of VTS and against atheism: Considering that countless spiritualists from many different religions and mystic-traditions profess to believe in spiritual channeling, mediumship, possession, reincarnation, walk-ins, and out of body states; then, why is it that so few people openly support the possibility of vehicle-exchange phenomena between two incarnate-spirits? Answer this question: What is the difference between a ghostly or disembodied spirit and an incarnate spirit-entity who occupies a human vessel? There really is no difference between them, for both are equally mind-spirit entities whether they are embodied or not! Many who believe in spiritual possession phenomena have no problem with accepting that a possessing spirit is more than capable of forcibly stealing another’s body, or even severing a possessed victim’s life-line connection to their former body; why is it that a an ex-incarnate ghost can take possession over an embodied spirit’s vehicle, but yet an embodied spirit cannot exchange bodies with another presently embodied spirit entity, especially under the terms of a lawful agreement or contract?! Think about it: If we as spiritual beings are actually bound to the current physical-body in which we presently inhabit, why then are unlawful spiritual possessions permitted to occur if we are totally bound to our current vessels until death?! On the same note, why are lawful walk-in transferences permitted to occur if we are bound to our currently occupied vessels until death?! Do you see what I mean? Obviously, we as spiritual-entities are not truly bound to our current physical bodies if another spirit-entity, be it angelic, demonic, ghostly or etc, is capable of acquiring complete occupancy thereof! Why believe in one mode of V.T. phenomena whilst excommunicating another? Why? – To preserve a preconditioned effigy of acceptance within the latently fear based perceptions of one’s peers or teachers? But fear is not of the light!

 

 Why can’t an intended walk-out spirit exchange physical-vehicles with another intended walk-out spirit? ; Especially if both walk-out spirits were already candidates for “lawfully bequeathing” their body unto a walk-in spirit? Hence, what would have been the difference if they were to trade their bodies with one another instead of with some foreigner spirit-entity from a higher plane? ; And what if those two incarnate-spirits would have been genuinely happier if they had exchanged their bodies with one another instead of waiting to later reincarnate or ascend to a higher plane? When a walk-in spirit lawfully takes possession of an incarnate spirit’s physical-vehicle – the spirit whose physical-vessel was taken by the walk-in (sometimes) reincarnates soon afterwards; so, what would have been the difference if this walk-out-spirit were to have traded his or her physical-body for that of another’s? And curiously, there are said to be walk-in spirits who wished to avoid enduring metempsychosis so they instead chose to become a walk-in; thusly, is such a spirit any more worthy of acquiring an incarnate spirit’s physical vessel than another incarnate spirit who wishes to engage trade vessels? A contradictory paradox! Strangely, some New-Age main-streamers are declaring that an incarnate-spirit may bequeath his physical-vessel to another spiritual-being – so long as the walk-in has no body? ; But yet one cannot trade-bodies with another?! What a ridiculous contradiction!

 

 Can the astral-cord be prematurely broken, deteriorated, infiltrated or weakened before death, as the result of unnatural causes? Yes! Under most ordinary O.B.E. circumstances the astral-cord of an individual who has a healthy aura is quite resilient against breakage or possessive infiltration by evil spirits; but yet spiritual possessions as well as premature astral-cord severances do occur! There are those who argue that inducing vehicle transference is impossible based upon their belief that the astral cord or lifeline cannot be broken until death; this argument is not at all plausible because otherwise spirit-channeling, spirit-mediumship, spirit-possession and spirit walk-ins would not be possible; for there must be a weak link in the ethereal auric-shield, and equivalently within the astral-cord defenses, for any of the aforementioned vehicle transference phenomena to be at all possible! We as sentient spirit-beings are not permanently bound to our physical-vehicles. Just as the astral-shield of the ethereal-aura can be infiltrated or weakened, how improbable would it be that death is not the only means through which the astral-cord can be unnaturally severed? Under special or unfortunate circumstances, one’s astral cord can be absorbed, affected, altered, broken, damaged, diminished, inhibited, infiltrated, influenced, jolted, manipulated, severed, stalled, stunned, tripped, weakened, or etcetera; thus before death naturally occurs. Is near death possession not as valid as simply dying? For instance, concerning mediumship, the potential consequences of etheric-withdrawal can actually kill the medium under the worst case scenario, for the channeled spirit-entity will deeply absorb its being into the medium’s ethereal aura. A near-death out-of-body experience is the necessary gateway through which most spiritual walk-ins occur, so apply this concept to life-line absorption. A near death out-of-body experience will weaken the spiritual-defenses of the ethereal-aura and cause the physical-vessel to become more susceptible to possession. Given adequate circumstances there are always exceptions for nearly every perceivable phenomenon and or supposed rule, though as obscure or as rare as such might be perceived.

 

 How possession and walk-in phenomena can occur:

 

1. Merging astral spirit-bodies.

2. Ethereal aura-absorption, ethereal-aura melding and ethereal withdrawal.

3. Damage to the astral/ psychic shield of the inner-ethereal aura.

4. Imbalanced or inhibited ethereal force-centers; or weakened chi or prana distribution.

5. Ill physical health, including brain damage or nervous system trauma.

6. Astral-cord absorption; walk-ins as well as possessions involve a spirit-entity who absorbs the walk-out’s astral-cord connection.

 

 The Buddhist Reverend Lobsang Rampa and the Vedic Saint Sundaranatha are two distinguished examples of such “lawful circumvention.”
